ITALIAN FILM FESTIVAL BANGKOK 2019

The Dante Alighieri Cultural Association – Bangkok proudly presents the “ITALIAN FILM FESTIVAL BANGKOK 2019”, which will showcase

a selection of 10 recent Italian productions from 16^th to the 26^th of May 2019.

The event will focus on a contemporary image of Italian culture through the quality of its most recent and best film productions. The selection alternates movies from well-known festivals authors, unusual genres for the Italian movie industry as the mythological adventure and the musical, and the brilliant young cinema of first feature films. It offers a vivid picture of multi-faceted contemporary Italian society through drama, comedy, fantasy and romance.

Two special new venues in this 5^th edition organized by The Dante Alighieri Association – Bangkok:

SCALA CINEMA, the historic theater located in Siam Square, the last remaining operational standalone single-screen cinema in the country, where the opening ceremony will take place on 16^th of May, and
CINEMA OASIS, a compact movie theater showcasing independent & arthouse films, where 25 screenings will animate an eight days program from 17^th to 26^th of May.
